Signing XFL Renegades quarterback, Cincinnati Bengals Drew Plitt .

To Be SureAnother player from the Arlington Renegades has been taken to the NFL. Subject to a physical, quarterback Drew Plitt will join the practice squad of the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to the XFL’s transactions website, he was released from the Renegades as of right now.

The Arlington Renegades were Drew Plitt’s home team for the 2023 XFL season. He began in the first few weeks and participated in certain activities for the remainder of the year.

In the end, he succeeded Luis Perez in winning the XFL Championship as his backup.

Plitt played four games with Arlington, throwing for 668 yards and three touchdowns. Despite this, he had trouble with interceptions, throwing five of them.

Drew is currently returning to Cincinnati. Drew spent the 2022 preseason with the Bengals, where he had previously played.

Given Joe Burrow’s season-ending injury, it makes sense for the Bengals to add a well-known player. It’s interesting to note that after the season ended, the team has signed a lot of XFL quarterbacks.

Reid Sinnett, a former Brahmas signal caller, spent time in Cincinnati for preseason and training camp.

Additionally, AJ McCarron, the quarterback for the St. Louis Battlehawks, was added to the practice squad a few weeks ago.

AJ had, of course, previously played in Cincinnati and was a superb playmaker for St. Louis in the XFL.
