NEW ORK The NBA today announced the debut of “Future Starts Now,” a new digital initiative on the NBA App that will feature the upcoming basketball stars in one convenient location and provide fans with an exclusive method to track their careers at every step, starting in high school.

“Future Starts Now” is a crucial part of the NBA’s larger goal to transform the NBA App into a one-stop shop for international basketball content. It will be the premier elite basketball destination on the NBA App and other NBA digital platforms, providing a thorough experience for basketball enthusiasts of all ages. Live feeds, instant updates, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, in-depth player interviews, thrilling highlights, and game recaps will all be included in the program. The 2023 Nike World Basketball Festival girls’ championship will be streamed live on the NBA App and NBA YouTube on Saturday, September 16, at 5:30 p.m. ET, and the boys’ final at 7:00 p.m. ET, to kick off the new venture. The competition is a part of a weekend-long celebration of Nike Basketball that takes place in front of New York City’s famous Lincoln Center. Eight NBA and WNBA players will coach top lineups of eighty of the best high school athletes, both male and female, as honorary team captains. Alongside ESPN’s Monica McNutt and Ros Gold-Onwude, podcast host and influencer Bobby Cey will call the action.
