Report: During Super Bowl week, Janarius Robinson of the Raiders was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
According to Las Vegas news station KSNV, reserve defensive end Janarius Robinson of the Las Vegas Raiders was taken into custody on Tuesday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence on the Las Vegas Strip.
Robinson was detained near the valet area of the Aria Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, according to the station, and was taken into police custody shortly before six in the morning PT. The media was not provided with any further information, and he is scheduled to appear in court at a later time.
Robinson’s arrest has not yet prompted a response from the Raiders. The NFL, which is naturally well-represented in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, will probably impose a brief punishment on him if found guilty.
Safety Roderic Teamer was cut by the Raiders in November, two days after he was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI (driving while high on marijuana), the evening before a home game versus Kansas City.
During the last six games of the 2023 season, Robinson, 24, was elevated from the practice squad. He recorded eight tackles and one sack.
