Gary Payton II will not play on Tuesday due to a hamstring issue.

This season, the Golden State Warriors have been comparatively healthy; sadly, Gary Payton II has not shared in this good fortune. Additionally, Payton appeared to get bitten by the injury bug once more during the third quarter of the team’s game against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.
Payton fell flat on an offensive play near the end of the quarter. When the team regained possession of the ball, Payton hobbled down the court while clutching his left leg—which is crucially not the leg he injured in November—and the referee ordered a timeout to remove him from the game.

Payton has only played in two games following his comeback from a calf ailment. It’s safe to say that he is really frustrated about perhaps having to return to the sidelines for some time, given that he had missed 13 straight games because of the injury.
