The Oklahoma Sooners have begun recruiting members of their class of 2025. Presently, the Sooners have nine commitments and a top-five 2025 class.
Having had a successful Junior Day this past weekend, they hope to add on that. Tory Blaylock, a 4-Star running back from Humble, Texas, might be one of those people. Another Blaylock prediction for the Sooners came from Collin Kennedy of 247Sports Oklahoma Insider.
There isn’t a committed running back for the Sooners right now. Blaylock is ranked 12th in the nation as a running back by the composite rankings of 247Sports. A top 160 player overall, he is as well.
If Oklahoma can pull this off, it would be a major victory, but there is still a long way to go until signing day.
The Sooners made one semi-surprise early signing: RB The tardy letter of intent from Taylor Tatum. Otherwise, OU’s early signing period will be drama-free.
Mason Young and Eric Bailey discuss a variety of topics, including the 2024 recruiting class and Brent Venables’ comments regarding the transfer site.

Legendary throughout Oklahoma and Indian Country alike is Sam Bradford. This summer, he was inducted into the American Indian Hall of Fame and is a member of the Cherokee Nation.
He had a rare interview with me in which he discussed his thoughts on OU football and his induction. Jackson Arnold, the incoming five-star freshman quarterback, might benefit from his advice.
