When the Miami Heat are losing a lot, they can try to trade for star player Tyler Herro or bench him.

The Miami Heat have now lost seven straight games, which is their longest losing streak since they lost 15 straight games in the 2008 season.

While most find it difficult to identify Miami’s primary concern, NBA analyst Kevin O’Connor thinks the team’s backcourt is the root of the issue.

“I believe that one of two things needs to happen in Miami at this time. During an interview with The Ringer’s ‘The Mis Match’ podcast, O’Connor stated that the backcourt duo of Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier should be divided up, with one player moving to the bench to serve as a fantastic sixth man.

Alternatively, additional action is required, such as relocating Tyler Herro. Perhaps some teams in the league would view him as a good young trade piece, but we recently witnessed their attempt to get Damian Lillard a few months ago.

While I believe Herro has made considerable development this season, and more teams may be interested at this time of year, not many teams were interested in Herro.

Rozier, who joined the Heat on January 23, has participated in their last four games. In Monday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns, he had his most spectacular performance in Miami, scoring 21 points on 57.1 percent shooting. Herro, meanwhile, scored 17 points on 5 of 18 shots.
