In December, Harris stated, “Of course, they’ve

been a little off with communication and stuff like that, but they are in Miami,” when the Bulldogs were at the Orange Bowl. “They try to get to me as much as I can.”

“I want to start by giving thanks to God for providing me with these opportunities. In his absence, I am writing. I want to express my gratitude to the entire UGA staff for considering me for a job and recognising my potential. A particular thank you to Muschamp and Coach McGee for coming to see me a lot during the spring. Following a thorough evaluation and extensive discussions with my mother and relatives, I would like to formally announce my withdrawal from the University of Georgia. I’m hiring right now, period,” he wrote.
