Ben Roethlisberger blames the Steelers’ “poor coaching” for their defeat to the Patriots.
Ben Roethlisberger, a former quarterback for the Steelers, is not impressed with either his old team or head coach Mike Tomlin.
In his podcast interview from last week, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger stated that poor coaching is a big issue in Pittsburgh.
“If we had one more timeout at the end of that game, we have another chance,” quarterback Peyton Manning stated, as reported by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
“You can’t afford to burn frivolous timeouts in the second half of games and not have them late in the game when you lose timeouts due to silly penalties – too many players on the pitch, not enough men on the pitch.
That is, in my opinion, awful. It’s inadequate guidance.
“Maybe the tradition of the Pittsburgh Steelers is done,” quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said in response to the Steelers’ difficulties this season, raising concerns about the team’s future.
“This isn’t the legacy that those 1970s teams left behind. The four Super Bowls, the Steel Curtain, the Bradshaws, the Nolls, and the Blounts. It’s unbelievable, all those people, Roethlisberger remarked.
From 2007 until 2021, Roethlisberger was a Tomlin player. It appears that Roethlisberger believes the Rooneys should make an unusual move in Pittsburgh and hire a new coach.
