The Jets must “Flush the Bulls—t” before the 2024 NFL season, according to Aaron Rodgers.

In order to plan a turnaround for the upcoming season, Aaron Rodgers feels that the New York Jets need a thorough cleaning.

After rupturing his Achilles tendon during the Jets’ season opener against the Buffalo Bills, the quarterback missed all but four plays of the 2023 NFL season. After finishing 7–10, New York would miss the playoffs for the thirteenth straight year.

In response to a question regarding what it will take for the club to advance in 2024, Aaron Rodgers was blunt, saying that the Jets must “get rid of the bullshit.”

According to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic, Rodgers stated, “Anything in this building that we’re doing that has nothing to do with winning needs to be assessed.” “Everything that we do has to have a purpose… the bulls–t that has nothing to do with winning has to get out of the building.”

With Aaron Rodgers, the Jets had great expectations going into the season, but his injury destroyed the group. With quarterbacks like Trevor Siemian, Tim Boyle, and Zach Wilson behind centre, the offence struggled and ended up ranking 31st in the NFL in terms of total offence.

On the other hand, the defence, which finished third in the league in total defence, told a different story. The Jets also prevailed against teams who were headed to the playoffs, including the Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, and Philadelphia Eagles. In the season’s last game, the team defeated the New England Patriots to stop a 15-game losing run, which was another happy way for the season to end.

Even though these are essentially token gifts, they provide the team some optimism for when Rodgers returns to the field. The four-time MVP

possesses a track record of success, evidenced by a Super Bowl ring and a 148-75-1 record while starting. His forthright opinion indicates that the squad should have a very different culture moving forward. He should provide a vitality that the franchise has not had in a long time.
