Seahawks Ink Seven Contracts For The Future
Seven players who were on the practice squad at the end of the season were signed by the Seahawks to reserve/future contracts.
The Seahawks signed seven players to reserve/future contracts on Monday; these players all spent the season on the practice squad. With the 2023 season having concluded, the team is focusing on the 2024 campaign.
signing upcoming agreements On Monday, the following players were active: safety Jonathan Sutherland, tight end Tyler Mabry, running back Bryant Koback, nose tackle Matthew Gotel, outside linebacker Levi Bell, receiver Cody White, and receiver Easop Winston Jr.
When rosters expand in March to coincide with the start of the new league year, players signed to reserve/future contracts will join the team’s 90-man roster. Future contract signings are only open to players who are not on 53-man rosters at the conclusion of the current campaign.

Ankle tackles Austin Faoliu and Matthew Gotel of the Seahawks were promoted from the practice squad in advance of Sunday’s regular-season finale against Arizona.
With starting nose tackle Jarran Reed labelled as questionable due to a knee ailment and defensive end Mario Edwards Jr. ruled out due to the same issue, those two provide the Seahawks more depth on the defensive line. Pete Carroll, the coach of the Seahawks, stated that Reed, who skipped practice the entire week, will be decided on game day.
