The New York Yankees continue their six-game road trip when they head north of the border to face the Toronto Blue Jays in a three-game series that starts on Monday.

The Yankees (12-4) had an interesting three-game set with the Cleveland Guardians, which wrapped up on Sunday. Rain washed out the Friday opener, which forced a doubleheader on Saturday. It also compelled the Yankees to adjust their rotation and move Luis Gil out of the rotation for the Guardians series and pushed him back to the opener with the Blue Jays.

The Yankees won both games of the doubleheader but fell to the Guardians in 10 innings in the finale on Sunday.

Still, the Yankees have the best record in the American League as they head to Toronto.

New York’s offense is in full throttle. Giancarlo Stanton has four home runs, while Oswaldo Cabrera, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto all have three home runs each. Anthony Volpe improved his batting average to a team-leading .382 in the Guardians series.

Cody Poteet might have been the star of the weekend. Called up as the “27th player” for the doubleheader, he gave the Yankees six innings as the starter in the second game and allowed just one run.

Luke Weaver is the team’s leader in wins with three, all in relief, while Clay Holmes has six saves in seven opportunities.

Here is the preview for the game, with probable pitchers, how to watch and listen, injury updates and more.
