Billy Napier and company are filling out their summer official visit schedule as well as welcoming a plethora of prep prospects to campus this spring. Five-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson from Tampa (Florida) Tampa Bay Tech in the 2025 cycle is one of the big names that recently scheduled a trip to Gainesville this summer. The 6-foot-3-inch, 180-pound Wilson is currently committed to the Oregon Ducks as of January 17, 2023, but seems to still be testing the waters for better opportunities. Florida football is back on the recruiting trail after a brief lull in the action.
Following a visit there earlier this month, Wilson told InsideTheU, “I’ve been opening my eyes up to other schools more and more and seeing what’s going on with them just to get a feel for it.” I have no idea how it will turn out in the end. Although I’m contemplating other universities, Miami is one of them, I still prefer Oregon.
June 14–16 is the scheduled weekend of his visit. Additionally, he is scheduled to visit Oregon on June 21–23 and Miami on June 7-9.
He made a few recommendations earlier this month for other institutions that are still looking for him.
Wilson said, “Miami, shoutout to them boys,” to 247Sports. “The state of Florida. The boys from Gator. Tennessee. Clemson is coming at us hard. Auburn. There are a few more.
Coach Billy Gonzales of wide receivers and assistant wide receiver David Doeker, with assistance from Napier, have been leading the recruitment of high school juniors.
