Good Vibes – Iggles BlitzNick Sirianni held three press conferences this week and he looked different.
He felt less defensive and more optimistic. Sometimes hitting rock bottom can be a good thing.
Perhaps the players and coaches realized they were still quite lucky. Plus the season isn’t over yet.
They still have a chance to do something good. The world is not falling apart. You will never change things by burying your head in the sand and feeling depressed. All you can do is keep grinding.
Or maybe go to an escape room. It doesn’t feel like a team is falling apart. Maybe I’m too optimistic.
Maybe I’m looking for something good. But this week there is a different atmosphere around the team.
Even if that were true, it means nothing if it doesn’t translate into better play on the field. The team has led 20-3 and 21-6 in the last two weeks.
They had a chance to wide open both games. Unfortunately, the team suffocated on both occasions, losing to the Cardinals and nearly losing to the Giants.

Haason Reddick admits Eagles DC switch was tough adjustment for defense – BGNIt’s been several weeks now since head coach Nick Sirianni decided to turn Sean Desai’s defense over to Matt Patricia, and it has yet to produce any positive results.
Patricia has spoken to reporters twice in her new role, each time downplaying how different things are under her leadership.

While that may technically be true, Haason Reddick spoke on Thursday about how it’s been a more difficult transition than one might describe.
When asked how much of what happened Sunday against the Cardinals was due to the change in coordinator, the edge defender was honest about the challenges.
