Running back Jaylen Wright of the Tennessee Volunteers has opted out of their bowl game and declared for the NFL Draft.

Regarding their most potent offensive threat, Tennessee got some expected news this morning. Jaylen Wright, a running back, declared on social media early on Friday morning that he will formally declare for the draft and not go back to Tennessee.

Wright is a Durham, North Carolina native and a true junior running back. He weighs 210 pounds and is about 5-11 in height.

Jaylen was the first 1,000-yard rusher at Tennessee since Jalen Hurd in 2015, which made him a valuable asset to this Volunteer backfield.

Despite sharing several carries with Dylan Sampson and Jabari Small, Wright managed a 1013-yard season.

This season, he has gained the most yards in a game at home versus Texas A&M, where the Volunteers prevailed. He won that match.

Wright has also decided not to play in the January 1st bowl match versus Iowa. Rather, he will devote all of his attention to the drafting process.

Dylan Sampson, Cameron Seldon, Khalifa Keith, incoming freshman Peyton Lewis, and other players are now in the running back room.

Numerous supporters have emphasised Dylan Sampson’s significance and expressed shock at the volume of pictures he occasionally receives.

As he approaches his true junior season, a big burden is anticipated for him to carry for the Volunteers.
