com/newslettersRunning back Jonathon Brooks, wide receiver Xavier Worthy and defensive end Byron Murphy II have declared for the NFL Draft, and further announcements of draft-eligible players are expected in the coming days.

There are also a handful of players leaving the program, most notably backup defensive end Trill Carter and backup quarterback Maalik Murphy. According to 247Sports, Texas has the No.

3 recruiting class for 2024 so far and has added three players via the transfer portal, so they are doing their due diligence to help replace departing players.
