This season, Vikings fans are seeing what a poor run game looks like, after years of the run game spearheading the team’s offense. Following Dalvin Cook’s offseason departure, Alexander Mattison was named the starting back, but the fifth-year back has struggled. In the first three games of the season, he ran for 155 yards on 39 carries. His performance was so impressive that Minnesota traded for Akers, only for the 24-year-old to tear his Achilles during Sunday’s victory over Atlanta.
The workhorse is still Mattison, with Ty Chandler, a 2022 fifth-round selection, trailing him. Since there’s not much to be excited about with the list of free agents, why not see what 38-year-old Adrian Peterson has left in the tank?
In the worst case scenario, he occupies a roster spot with no value. He gives himself a chance at a storybook ending and, at best, adds depth.
The last NFL snap that Peterson took was 702 days ago. After his most recent four-week appearance on DWTS, we know he’s still in some shape. Peterson recently stated, “I can still play,” while making a guest appearance on Robert Griffin III’s podcast. I believe I am agile enough to go outside and perform better than many of the children I see playing.
Because the home was never put on the public registry, information about it is limited. It is situated on the northern boundary of his opulent current compound.
Constructed in 1963 and tucked away from the road by boxy hedges, the salmon-colored mansion boasts more than 3,500 square feet and four bedrooms and four bathrooms, per listing documentation. A long driveway and a pool are also visible in aerial photos.
The 48-year-old Mr. DiCaprio bought the property through a limited liability company connected to his cousin and longtime business partner Robert Hrtica.
