ORLANDO, Fla. – Tennessee Football will play in the Citrus Bowl against Iowa without key players due to injuries, opt-outs and the transfer portal.

According to a UT spokesperson, offensive tackle John Campbell and defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott are inactive.

Other player injuries, waivers and non-player transfers are listed below.No. 21 Tennessee (8-4) plays No. 17 Iowa (10-3) at 1 p.m. ET on ABC at Camping World Stadium.

Long before Tennessee reached the Citrus Bowl, it lost many key players to injuries throughout the season.

Tennessee will hand the keys to true freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava for his first career start as a volunteer.

He will go up against one of the top 5-10 defenses in the country as the Iowa Hawkeyes have been dominant all season.

The Hawkeyes will also be without some players due to injuries, waivers and transfers.

It will be interesting to see how this clash plays out as Iamaleava and the Volunteers look to start 2024 on the right track and catapult themselves into the new season.

Iamaleava will undoubtedly be tested by this Iowa defense, which will be a good starting point for his career as he attempts to shut down the Hawkeyes.
