The brother of former 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was among many in Las Vegas who were pleased that the hometown Raiders’ foe, the Chiefs, had defeated the 49ers in the Super Bowl.

Shortly after the Chiefs defeated the 49ers 25-22 in overtime, Billy Garoppolo, the youngest of the four Garoppolo brothers, posted the Taylor Swift song “Karma” on his Instagram stories. As of Monday morning at 7 a.m., Billy—whose Instagram bio states that he is from “Las Vegas”—still had the photo posted on his story.

Alright? Jimmy Garoppolo’s social media accounts were empty of any content or posts. His thoughts on the matchup remained somewhat ambiguous, even following his appearance in public on behalf of USAA on Friday in Las Vegas.though many fans probably would have understood if Garoppolo still harbored animosity toward the 49ers and their head coach Kyle Shanahan, he may not have wanted a video of him disparaging his old team to become viral on social media.

After all, it appears like the franchise made several attempts to replace him over the last few years, selecting quarterbacks in the first two rounds and even allowing him to try to negotiate a trade before allowing him to sign a three-year contract with the Raiders in free agency.
