On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders undoubtedly looked like a different team.

There were glimpses of what the team’s reset under interim coach Antonio Pierce might look and feel like for the rest of the season during a 30-6 victory over the Giants at Allegiant Stadium.

Josh Jacobs, who was the NFL’s best rusher the previous season, appeared to be back to his old self, and the Raiders were keen to set the tone with their ferocity in the run game. The Raiders scored 27 consecutive points to start the game, and on 26 rushes, Jacobs amassed 98 yards and two scores. The defense, which had two interceptions and eight sacks, was as physical. They didn’t let up a point until the fourth quarter and kept the Giants to just 108 yards in the first half.

Six days after the Lions humiliated the Raiders on “Monday Night Football,” a commanding victory was undoubtedly a positive move, even though the offense was confined to two field goals by Daniel Carlson in the second half.

With the departure of offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi, general manager Dave Ziegler, and head coach Josh McDaniels in his second season, the Raiders made major changes on Tuesday.

The club that played with greater swagger and confidence was the product of the changes made in a matter of days by Pierce, offensive coordinator Bo Hardegree, and general manager Champ Kelly.

This includes Aidan O’Connell, the rookie quarterback, who completed 16 of 25 throws for 209 yards with no interceptions. For O’Connell, who was only required to oversee the attack and wasn’t need to make many pressure throws, the game’s flow worked out flawlessly. With eight games left to play, the Raiders have improved to 4-5 overall. Time will tell if the turnaround began with a victory over the Giants and Tommy DeVito, the rookie backup quarterback. Ultimately, the Giants (2-7) are in worse shape than Las Vegas and are down to their third quarterback of the year.

Raiders want to defeat the Giants in the last quarter.

The Raiders’ record against the New York Giants is no longer a shutout. However, they continue to lead easily.

With 14:11 remaining in the game, the Giants tied the Raiders at 27-6 thanks to a 9-yard touchdown pass from Tommy DeVito to Wan’Dale Robinson.

Daniel Carlson of the Raiders made a 46-yard field goal to provide the only points of the game.Against the New York Giants this afternoon at Allegiant Stadium, the Raiders had the best possible first half of football.

Aidan O’Connell has completed 9 of 10 throws for 135 yards and two touchdown runs, Josh Jacobs has 85 rushing yards and two touchdown runs, and the defense has two interceptions.

When everything is taken into account, the Raiders hold a decisive 24-0 lead.

Daniel Jones, the starting quarterback for the Giants, went down on the second play of the second quarter due to a noncontact leg injury. Tommy DeVito, a rookie who threw two interceptions and completed one pass for 11 yards, took his spot.

The Raiders have dominated since hiring a new general manager, offensive coordinator, and head coach.
