The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will square off in Super Bowl LVIII today. Both teams’ coaching staffs and past players are from Las Vegas.

Two of the Chiefs’ players were once members of the Silver and Black. Neil Farrell Jr., a defensive tackle, was a member of the team in 2022 and finished with 12 tackles in nine games—three of which were solo—as well as two quarterback hits.

In 2023, Chiefs linebacker Darius Harris was a member of the Raiders practice squad and also spent time with the Silver and Black.

Starting with offensive guard Jon Feliciano, three former Raider coaches and one former player play for the NFC Champions, the 49ers. Feliciano was first selected by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was a member of the Silver and Black from 2015 till 2018. He is an offensive lineman’s backup.

Brian Schneider, the coordinator of special teams for the 49ers, also played for the Raiders for a while. From 2007 to 2008, Schneider was the Silver and Black’s special teams coordinator for two seasons.

James Cregg, the 49ers’ assistant offensive line coach, also played two seasons with the Silver and Black in addition to Schneider. From 2007 to 2008, Cregg was the offensive line coach’s assistant.

Finally, in 2012, Johnny Holland, the 49ers’ linebackers coach, was the Raiders’ linebackers coach.

Watch out for all of these former Raider players and coaches when the Chiefs and 49ers square off in Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium.

CBS will broadcast the Super Bowl starting at 6:30 PM EST/3:30 PM PT.

The NFL Scouting Combine will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, from February 27 to March 4, 2024.
