Fender and has been suspended from a game twice this season, so a bigger punishment would have come.

He was heavily fined earlier this season, but now the NFL is coming in much harder and suspending him for four games.

NFL vice president of football operations Jon Runyan issued Jackson’s suspension and explained his reasoning.

In the statement, Runyan said Jackson delivered a “forceful blow to the head and neck area of a defenseless receiver despite having time and space to avoid such contact.”

He went on to say that Jackson could have legally targeted Musgrave, but “you chose not to.”

In Week 1, Jackson hit Raiders receiver Jakobi Meyers in the head/neck area, leaving him on the field with a concussion.

The following week against the Commanders, Jackson hit Logan Thomas hard in the head/neck area and was ejected from the game and heavily fined.

So unfortunately there’s a pattern here that the NFL is clearly not a fan of.

Jackson will reportedly appeal his four-game suspension, so we’ll see if the suspension is reduced here in the coming days.

Speaking of which, I’m convinced Patrick Mahomes has it forever.

Kansas City continues and I’m convinced Mahomes will never play a playoff game on the road. He played in 14 playoff games, including 11 at Arrowhead Stadium and three in the Super Bowl.

It seems unfair, but not as unfair as what Mahomes feels when he fights. It almost seems unfair.

I don’t mean he’s breaking the rules – I just mean he’s on third-and-15 and fighting for first downs.

After Sunday, he has two points for a first down on a third down and 15 or more this season – the rest of the NFL has one.

And since becoming the Chiefs’ starter in 2018, they have converted 22% of their third-and-15 plays, compared to the NFL average of just 9%.

If I played against him, I would want to pull my hair out – and I can’t do that.
