Before Saturday’s trip to West Brom, Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna insists he has no new injury concerns.
Wes Burns, a winger, and Brandon Williams, a full-back, missed games due to illnesses and shoulder injuries, respectively. Recently, Cameron Burgess, Massimo Luongo, and Nathan Broadhead, each from Wales, were abroad on international service.
“It appears that everyone has returned well,” McKenna remarked prior to Saturday’s tea-time kickoff at the Hawthorns (5.30pm).
Only Elkan (from Baggott, Indonesia) has not returned from his foreign duties yet. Today marked the first day that Massimo Luongo and Cameron Burgess returned to work.
McKenna commented, “He seems good,” about Burns, who missed five games due to a shoulder injury before making a late appearance against Swansea. He entered the game during the final thirty minutes, which was quite early in his recuperation. You can train, but you won’t truly know how you feel until you on the field for the first time.
