Oklahoma gains 10th commitment of 2025 recruiting classBill Bedenbaugh brings in a three-star offensive lineman from Texas who worked for Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, OSU and others before choosing the Sooners.

On Sunday morning, Oklahoma acquired a commitment from 2025 offensive lineman Ryan Fodje.

Originally from Bridgeland (TX), Fodje is listed at 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds.

As a three-star recruit, the Houston-area product chose the Sooners over USC, Texas, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Missouri and others.

As a junior, Fodje was named a 2023 first-team all-district selection after starting at right tackle and helping the Bears reach the playoffs.

The talented offensive lineman also participates in track and field, throwing the shot put nearly 40 feet as a high school sophomore.

Fodje is teammates with fellow 2025 prospect Jonte Newman, who last month included the Sooners among his top eight schools.

Fodje and Newman both visited Texas in late January, but OU still managed to emerge ahead in the search for Bridgeland’s coveted right tackle.

Fodje also reportedly visited Texas A&M this past weekend.

Newman, who plays left tackle for the Bears, included both Texas and Oklahoma in his top eight.

Fodje attended the Brent Venables Elite Camp over the summer and performed very well for Oklahoma offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh.
