Bam Adebayo was picked for the third time in his career to the 2024 NBA All-Star Team, the NBA announced tonight.

Now, 18 of the previous 20 seasons have seen at least one All-Star for Miami. On Sunday, February 18, the 73rd NBA All-Star Game will be held in Indianapolis, IN.

Averaging 20.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.03 blocks, 1.00 steals, and 34.8 minutes per game this season, Adebayo—who was named the NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week on January 14—has played in 38 games (all starts).

He also shoots 78.1 percent from the foul line and 50.1 percent from the field.

He leads the team in field goals made, double-figure scoring games, 20-point games, double-figure rebounding games, assists, total rebounds, offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, blocks, and double-doubles.

On January 24 against Memphis, Adebayo recorded a double-double with 15 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, and a career-high six blocks.

He became the first player in franchise history to accomplish at least one of those totals in a single game.

Last night’s double-double was his 174th as a HEAT player, which is the fourth-most in team history.

On January 8 against Houston, he handed out his 100th assist of the year, his eighth straight season with at least 100 assists, tying him for the second-most 100-assist seasons in HEAT history.

From January 5 to January 14, he recorded five straight double-doubles with 20 points and 10 rebounds. This streak tied the second-longest in team history, which he also established earlier in the season from November 6 to November 14.

He also became the only player in franchise history to have two streaks of at least five games. On November 16, Adebayo recorded a triple-double of 22 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Los Angeles Lakers.

It was only the third triple-double in the team’s history with at least 15 rebounds, and it was his sixth overall career triple-double, which surpassed Dwyane Wade’s five to tie for third place in HEAT history.

In addition, he moved into the Top 5 all-time scoring list of the HEAT last night, surpassing Chris Bosh.
