Ramsay has only played two games for the Lilywhites this season while dealing with a knee injury.

“It didn’t work out for him at Preston for a number of reasons that we understand,” boss Ian Evatt said.Speaking to BBC Radio Manchester, he continued:

“It could happen. We felt we needed to bring some competition to that area and give us some additional options. We are really lucky to have him.”He is a talented young player.

He arrived at Liverpool with a huge reputation and a huge transfer fee for someone of his age.”Our relationship with Liverpool is fantastic and we thank them for the trust they have placed in him.”
