Winger David Nofoaluma of the Wests Tigers has been released from the last two years of his contract.

The 30-year-old’s contract was terminated by mutual agreement, the Tigers said in a statement on Tuesday.

Nofoaluma joined the Wests Tigers in 2013 and went on to play 192 games while scoring 100 tries in his NRL career.

Tyson Smoothy, a hooker for the Broncos, has extended his contract with the team by one year, meaning he will remain in Brisbane until at least the end of 2025.

The 24-year-old, who made 13 appearances for Kevin Walters’ team the previous season, was scheduled to have his contract terminated at the conclusion of the following one.

Utility Peter Mamouzelos has signed a three-year contract extension with the Rabbitohs that runs through the conclusion of the 2027 campaign.

Mamouzelos has seven appearances in the top grade since making his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs against the Knights in 2021.

The 23-year-old was a key player in South Sydney’s 2023 NRL State Championship victory and NSW Cup premiership.

Mamouzelos declared, “I’m really excited to be extending my time with this Club.”

“I informed my management that I had no intention of going elsewhere. I adore this club, I’ve grown up here in South Sydney, and it’s always been my team.”

Jesse Marschke, a playmaker, has joined the Dragons for the 2024 season, bolstering their depth in the halves.

The 26-year-old, who has made 72 appearances in the NSW Cup and scored 18 tries, assisted the Bears in their 2017 grand final campaign.

Coach of the Dragons Shane Flanagan stated, “Jesse adds valuable depth to our spine and is coming off a strong season with the Bears.”

“As we get ready for the 2024 season to begin, we are excited to have him join the team.”

A player swap agreement between the Storm and Wests Tigers will see Shawn Blore and Justin Olam change teams prior to the 2024 season.
