Nathanael Ogbeta, a defender for Swansea City, has signed a loan deal with Bolton Wanderers for the 2023–24 campaign, contingent on receiving international clearance.

Ogbeta, who has been sidelined for a significant portion of the season due to a quad injury, will now have the opportunity to play after regaining full health by joining the League One promotion contenders.

With games remaining against the clubs in front of them, Wanderers is presently two points off the top spot in the third tier.

Ogbeta, a former England youth international, moved from Shrewsbury to the Swans in January 2022.

After ten years on Manchester City’s roster, he made fifty-eight appearances for the Shrews.

His tenure in SA1 has been hindered by injuries, which also ended his productive season on loan at Peterborough United too soon.

Nathanael is well-wished by all at Swansea City for his stay at Bolton.

After thirty-one minutes, the West Brom loanee broke the deadlock and scored his first League goal with a lovely volley from Josh Sheehan’s floated cross.

Five minutes later, he played the pass that allowed Paris Maghoma to double the lead, but the midfielder’s dash and low shot were mostly responsible for his fifth goal of the year.

Carlisle was given hope in the 71st minute by substitute Jordan Gibson, whose hat-trick assisted Paul Simpson’s team to a 3-1 victory in the rematch last October.

However, two goals in stoppage time for Wanderers completed an outstanding triumph.
