Georgia Bulldogs Announce 2025 Championship Schedule for Football Season

The University of Georgia has officially unveiled its 2025 football championship schedule, promising another thrilling season for fans of the Bulldogs. The 2025 season will see the team compete for the Southeastern Conference (SEC) title and a potential spot in the College Football Playoff (CFP) as they aim to defend their recent successes on the national stage.

Head coach Kirby Smart expressed his excitement over the upcoming season, noting that the schedule is packed with high-stakes matchups, both within the SEC and against non-conference teams. The Bulldogs will begin their campaign on September 6, 2025, facing off against a highly anticipated non-conference opponent in the season opener at home in Sanford Stadium. This marks the beginning of what promises to be a competitive and challenging season for Georgia.

Georgia’s SEC slate will include traditional powerhouses, such as Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee. The annual rivalry game against Florida, held in Jacksonville, is set for October 25, 2025, while the Bulldogs will look to defend their dominance in the SEC East with key divisional matchups against Kentucky, Missouri, and South Carolina throughout the season.

As usual, the Bulldogs will have a tough test against conference rivals, with their regular season culminating in the SEC Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Depending on their regular-season performance, Georgia will vie for the title and a potential berth in the College Football Playoff.

Georgia fans are eager to see their team continue its dominance following back-to-back national championships in 2023 and 2024. With a roster full of talented players and a championship pedigree, the Bulldogs’ 2025 schedule is set to provide plenty of excitement and drama as they chase another SEC and national title.
