Terry Rozier was traded by the Miami Heat to the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday, along with point guard Kyle Lowry and a 2027 first-round pick.
Jaylen Brown, Rozier’s former teammate, responded to the news recently and expressed his support for the trade from Miami.
“I think Terry is already a native of Miami so I think it definitely made sense,” Brown stated. “So I’m happy for him, he kind of fits in (to what) their culture represents.”
In a rematch of the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals, Brown and the Celtics will take on Rozier and the Heat on Thursday night.
