PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Steelers hope Kenny Pickett will be their starting quarterback in 2024, but after the just-concluded season, coach Mike Tomlin acknowledges the team needs competition.
Their first pick in that league is Mason Rudolph, but as Tomlin said multiple times during his end-of-year press conference, Rudolph is a free agent.
He may not mean anything, but it could also mean that he will go somewhere else for a bigger paycheck or for a better opportunity.Without him, the Steelers still want competition.
That could come via the NFL Draft, which Tomlin will explore to ensure the team doesn’t miss out on an opportunity for a star.
This could also happen through free agency or a trade.With Omar Khan at the helm for the second time, it’s hard to rule out the Steelers picking the right name at the right price.Regardless, one thing is certain:
