After going agonisingly close to a medal in the road race at the delayed Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021, Lotte Kopecky is in the hunt for three medals at Paris 2024 this summer. “I think I’m ready, and my form is good,” Belgian star Kopecky said. She contracted Covid-19 earlier in the year, but says she is back in good health and will compete in the track omnium, road race and time trial.

Lotte Kopecky is targeting a trio of medals at Paris 2024 after shrugging off Covid-19.
The Belgian will be competing on the track in the omnium, along with a tilt at the road race and time trial.
Kopecky picked up Covid earlier in the year, but is back in good health and looking to push for medals in Paris.
“For me, too, [the time trial] is a question mark,” Kopecky told Sporza via Cycling News.
“I have worked on it very hard. But I came out of the Giro Donne with Covid. I think I’m immune to it for a while now.
“I took it easy for a few days. This weekend, my training during the track camp went well, and my values were good. I don’t think that will be the problem.”
Kopecky narrowly missed out on a medal in Tokyo three years ago, finishing fourth in the road race, and she is confident of challenging for glory this summer.
