AUBURN, Ala. – Kickoff on the Plains will be under the lights this year as Auburn and Alabama A&M will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Aug. 31 for the season opener.
Auburn will begin the 2024 season with five straight home games. The SEC released kickoff times and TV networks for the first three on Thursday.
In week two, Auburn will host Cal at 2:30 p.m. CT on Sept. 7 in a rematch of last year’s game when the Tigers went to Cal and won 14-10 in the first ever meeting between the two schools. This year’s matchup will be televised on ESPN2.
It will be another night game in Jordan-Hare Stadium the following week with Auburn and New Mexico slated for a 6:30 p.m. CT start on Sept. 14. The game will be televised on either ESPN2 or ESPNU and is also Auburn’s Homecoming.
New this year is the debut of a new scheduling format for SEC games across all ESPN platforms, with the opportunity for teams and fans to know approximate start times for the entire season.
TV windows will be announced for all remaining SEC-controlled games on Tuesday, June 11, with select games tagged as Flex games between the Afternoon and Night windows.
