Oilers Switch Lineups Before Edmonton’s Elimination Game Before Game 5 against the Los Angeles Kings, the Oilers are switching up a few of their lineups.

Edmonton It’s just one day away until the Edmonton Oilers return to action.

In preparation for Game Five of their first-round series against the Los Angeles Kings, the Oilers are practicing today. After two spirited victories away from home, the Oilers are feeling confident going into tomorrow night’s series finale against the Kings.

The bottom six line combinations have been switched around a little in practice. Warren Foegele is now on the fourth line with Derek Ryan and Mattias Janmark, while Dylan Holloway is on the third line with Ryan McLeod and Corey Perry.

The Oilers made a great call-up in Holloway. In the playoffs, he has truly blossomed, tallying two goals, three shots, nine hits, and an extremely assertive game.

Sadly, Holloway has not had a lot of ice time up to this point. He has played 9:44, 9:42, 8:42, and 9:25 in this series versus the Kings. Remembering that this team is in the Stanley Cup playoffs is crucial. The emphasis should be on winning hockey games rather than improving the organization’s prospects.

For a full sixty minutes, fans will have to wait until tomorrow night to witness how these new formations perform.
