The Dallas Mavericks are at last clicking as a team. After a slump in play and form during the middle of the season, the Mavs are cruising towards a postseason berth. They’ve actually won six straight games right now. With less than ten regular season games left, the Mavs have risen to the sixth position in the Western Conference standings thanks to their outstanding late-season play.

Their most recent victory over the Sacramento Kings, another team vying for a postseason spot, was especially noteworthy. After the game, the Mavs Nation was informed of a concerning development: Luka might miss a few games due to knee soreness.

It appeared that Luka Doncic had hurt his right knee with 36 seconds left in the second quarter. During the half, Doncic headed straight to the locker room. The Locked on Mavericks’ Nick Angstadt claims that Luka kicked a chair out of annoyance. “Luka limps into the locker room at halftime,” he remarked. Additionally, Matt Goerge claims to have witnessed Luka kick a chair with his left leg as he entered. Doncic was able to play 41 minutes in the game and got the treatment he needed at halftime. Even after making a game-winning free throw that put the Mavericks ahead, he gave a backhand clap to former Kings general manager Vlade Divac.

Due to knee soreness, Luka Doncic has been listed by the Mavericks as questionable for tonight’s crucial game against the Houston Rockets, their rivals. The Mavs would undoubtedly suffer in Doncic’s absence, especially after he had one of the most statistically dominant seasons in recent memory
