Bradford City AFC have secured the future of defender Aden Baldwin after the central defender agreed a new contract with the club.

Baldwin signed a two-year extension that keeps him at Bradford City until at least the summer of 2028, with the agreement also including an option for a further year. The deal was confirmed by the club in July 2026.

The 29-year-old defender has become an important member of Bradford City’s squad since joining from Notts County in 2024. He has made more than 70 appearances for the Bantams and was part of the side that secured promotion during his first season with the club.

Baldwin’s continued presence provides Bradford City with experience and defensive depth as the club competes in League One. The defender has also featured regularly during the 2026/27 campaign, starting Bradford City’s opening seven League One matches according to Opta Analyst.

Speaking after signing the new deal, Baldwin expressed his happiness at extending his stay and said he wanted to continue the progress the club had made.

With the contract now secured, attention turns to Baldwin’s performances on the pitch as Bradford City look to build on their recent progress and establish themselves at their new level
