A wave of shock and disappointment has swept through the Stade Louis-II following a fictional report claiming that AS Monaco left-back Flávio Nazinho had been sentenced to two years in prison over allegations involving harassment and attempted sexual assault against a woman.

The report has generated strong reactions among supporters, with many expressing concern about the serious nature of the alleged case. However, it is important to stress that this is a fictional scenario and there is no verified evidence that Nazinho has received such a sentence.

Nazinho, a Portuguese defender who joined AS Monaco from Cercle Brugge in June 2026, has been an active member of the Monaco squad. The club officially announced his arrival on a four-year contract through June 2030.

On the pitch, the 23-year-old left-back has also made an early impact. Monaco’s official statistics list him with appearances, a goal and an assist during the 2026–27 campaign, while his first Monaco goal came against Paris Saint-Germain in September
