In fact, recent reporting shows Emery speaking positively about Goretzka, describing him as an experienced, competitive winner who could bring important qualities to Villa’s midfield. Goretzka joined Aston Villa as a free agent after leaving Bayern Munich.
Goretzka has since faced an injury setback that delayed his Aston Villa debut, with Emery acknowledging that his absence was frustrating for the team.
