Celtic supporters had every reason to celebrate as the Hoops produced a confident 2–0 victory over CFR Cluj at Parkhead in the UEFA Europa League.
The result carried extra significance because Cluj had previously eliminated Celtic from the UEFA Champions League qualifying stages earlier in the same season, defeating the Scottish giants 4–3 at Celtic Park.
This time, however, Celtic controlled the contest and made their chances count.
