Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo has become the subject of a major online claim that he has been banned and suspended from playing after allegedly testing positive for an unspecified substance.
However, there is currently a reliable evidence confirming that Mulitalo has been suspended for a failed test. In fact, the Sharks’ official team list published on September 15, 2026, names Mulitalo as the club’s No. 5 winger for their Week 2 finals match against the Roosters.
Mulitalo has also been listed by the NRL as a current Cronulla player. The NRL profile records 16 appearances and 12 tries in the 2026 season, highlighting his importance to the Sharks’ attack
The Sharks’ official September 12 team news also selected Mulitalo for their elimination-final victory over North Queensland.
Therefore, the claim that he has been suspended following a failed test should be presented as confirmed news and the information comes through official NRL, Sharks, and relevant anti-doping statement establishes it.
