BREAKING NEWS: European football has been thrown into fresh controversy following the dramatic Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham Hotspur clash, with reports claiming that UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin could face calls to investigate referee Craig Pawson over the controversial officiating decisions during the match.

The Premier League encounter ended 0–0, but the biggest talking point came in the second half when Nottingham Forest thought they had taken the lead through Neco Williams. After a VAR review involving Peter Bankes, the goal was overturned after officials determined that the ball had touched Williams’ hand before crossing the line.

The decision sparked anger inside the City Ground, with Forest manager Oliver Glasner questioning whether there was enough evidence for VAR to intervene. Williams himself also insisted that he had headed the ball between his arms rather than handling it.

The match referee, Craig Pawson, subsequently announced the VAR decision to the stadium, leaving Forest supporters furious. The incident has since generated widespread debate over the standard required for VAR intervention.
