A dramatic rumour involving Derby County legend Kevin Hector and his wife, Pat Hector, has been circulating online, attracting attention from football supporters.
However, there is no verified evidence or reliable public report confirming the allegation, and it should not be treated as established fact.
Kevin Hector remains widely remembered for his outstanding contribution to Derby County during the club’s successful era. Supporters continue to celebrate his goals, performances and long-standing connection with the Rams.
Fans are therefore being encouraged to avoid spreading unverified claims about the private lives of former players and their families. Until a credible source provides confirmation, the story remains nothing more than an unsubstantiated online rumour.
