Derby County supporters have been left stunned by reports suggesting that head coach John Eustace could be facing an uncertain future at Pride Park following concerns over the club’s recent performances.
The speculation comes after Derby endured a difficult opening to the Championship campaign, including a heavy 3–0 defeat to Swansea City at Pride Park. Eustace admitted afterwards that the performance was unacceptable and acknowledged the frustration among the supporters.
However, there has been no confirmed announcement from Derby County that Eustace has been sacked. The Rams subsequently responded with a 2–0 victory away at Portsmouth, securing their first league win of the season.
For now, claims that Eustace has been removed from his position should therefore be treated as unconfirmed speculation until an official statement is released by Derby County.
