A stunning bombshell is circulating around Nottingham Forest, with claims suggesting that head coach Oliver Glasner could be facing an uncertain future at the City Ground following a difficult start to the 2026/27 campaign.

Glasner only recently took charge of Forest, replacing Vítor Pereira, and the club entered the new season hoping that the Austrian coach could bring stability after a turbulent period.

However, Forest have suffered consecutive defeats against Leeds United, including a 2–0 Carabao Cup loss on Wednesday, August 26. The results have immediately increased pressure around the new manager and raised questions among supporters about whether the club’s hierarchy could make another major coaching decision.

The situation would be a dramatic development considering Glasner’s appointment was intended to provide long-term stability. Forest had already gone through significant managerial upheaval, making another coaching change particularly controversial.

For now, however, there is no confirmed report that Nottingham Forest have sacked Oliver Glasner. Current reporting continues to identify him as Forest’s head coach, so claims of an indefinite dismissal should be treated as unverified until the club makes an official announcement.
