As of 22 August 2026, Tottenham’s official website still identifies Roberto De Zerbi as the club’s men’s head coach. The club appointed him on a long-term contract in March 2026, and official reports continued to feature him in that role during August.
The speculation comes after Tottenham suffered a heavy 3–0 defeat to Brentford in their Premier League opener on Saturday. The result is likely to increase pressure and fuel debate among supporters, but there is no confirmed announcement from Tottenham that De Zerbi has been dismissed.
