The posts make several serious allegations about the identity of a child and an alleged relationship involving
Sharp’s wife. However, there is currently no credible evidence or reliable news report confirming these claims, and they should not be treated as established facts.
Billy Sharp is a well-known English footballer whose career has included spells with several clubs, while Andy Robertson is a completely separate football figure. The unusual combination of their names in the circulating story has added to confusion among social-media users.
Fans are being urged to exercise caution before sharing the allegations further. Claims concerning a person’s family life, relationships or the biological parentage of a child are particularly sensitive and should only be reported as fact when supported by reliable evidence or direct confirmation from the people involved.
