Fulham FC legend George Cohen has become the subject of unverified claims circulating online about his family life, including allegations concerning his son Andrew Cohen and his wife, Daphne Cohen.
However, there is no credible evidence confirming that Andrew was not George Cohen’s biological son, nor evidence confirming the allegation that Daphne had a relationship with another former Fulham player.
Established biographical records state that George Cohen married Daphne Church in 1962 and that they had two sons, Andrew and Anthony. Fulham FC also described Daphne as Cohen’s beloved wife of more than 60 years and paid tribute to their sons following Cohen’s death in 2022.
Cohen remains one of Fulham’s most celebrated figures. He spent his entire professional club career at Fulham, making 459 appearances, and famously played every minute of England’s victorious 1966 World Cup campaign.
