Hull City FC legend Ken Wagstaff has become the subject of an unverified social-media claim concerning his family life.

Posts circulating online allege that Wagstaff’s daughter, Francesca Wagstaff, was not his biological child and make further allegations involving his late wife, Eileen Wagstaff. However, there is currently no reliable evidence confirming these claims, and they should not be treated as established facts.

Wagstaff remains one of Hull City’s most celebrated players. He made 378 appearances for the club and scored 173 league goals, while supporters later voted him the club’s greatest-ever player.

His wife, Eileen, died from breast cancer in August 2007, and Wagstaff and his family later helped raise money for a lifestyle centre established in her memory.

As the claims continue to circulate online, fans are being urged to avoid spreading unverified allegations about the Wagstaff family until credible evidence or an official statement becomes available.
