Premier League club Everton Football Club has approved a significant $80.6 million enhancement and development programme at its new home, Hill Dickinson Stadium, marking the next phase of the club’s strategy to maximise the potential of its state-of-the-art waterfront arena.

Since its opening ahead of the 2025‑26 season, the stadium has replaced the historic Goodison Park and has become one of the largest football venues in England. The new investment is focused on expanding the stadium’s role as a football venue while also transforming it into a year-round destination for fans and the wider community.

Plans include a 15,000‑capacity outdoor event space integrated into the fan plaza, designed to host concerts, festivals, and large-scale community events. New hospitality and leisure zones are being developed to make matchdays more engaging, featuring premium lounges, fan activity hubs, and event spaces. The club is also planning statues and commemorations of Everton greats around the stadium, celebrating the team’s rich heritage and enhancing the precinct as a destination beyond football.

Everton’s owners, The Friedkin Group, see this enhancement project as a way to increase non-matchday revenue while improving the overall fan experience. The club has also emphasized ongoing improvements in transport and accessibility around the stadium, ensuring that supporters can enjoy the upgraded facilities comfortably and safely.

This $80.6 million initiative reflects Everton’s ambition to operate not just a modern stadium, but a multi-purpose venue capable of hosting global events. Club leadership believes the project will strengthen Everton’s financial position, support squad development, and reinforce its long-term vision for success on and off the pitch.

Fans can look forward to a transformed stadium experience that elevates matchdays and makes Hill Dickinson Stadium a cultural and sporting hub for Liverpool and beyond.
