Charlie Kolar, a tight end for the Baltimore Ravens, made his teammates laugh on Thursday.
At the Ravens’ Under Armour Performance Centre on Thursday, Kolar debuted a new hairstyle: some brand-new cornrows. Ryan Mink of ravens.com claims that Kolar spent the majority of the day wearing a skullcap to arouse curiosity about his upcoming hairstyle.
Lamar Jackson laughed out loud, took out his phone, and took a picture of Kolar’s intricate braids when he took off the cap.
Jackson gave Kolar the Instagram story nickname “White chocolate.”
Mink was informed by Kolar that he “just wanted to try something new.”
He continued, “I’ve never really seen a white guy with twists or braids before, so I wanted to see how it looked.”
From the hair stylist who created the braids, here’s another appearance.
Third-year tight end Kolar stated that he has plenty of time to change his appearance before the 2024 NFL season starts because it’s only May.
Jackson’s response suggests that maintaining the updated appearance could be beneficial for team unity.
