WR Jermaine Burton of Alabama declares his NFL Draft selection.

In his statement, Burton added, “First and foremost, I want to thank God for allowing me the opportunities that I have received and will receive in my life.”

“To the University of Alabama, thank you for making this experience one to remember. It’s been an amazing one.

“I want to thank my coaches for believing in me. I would especially like to thank Coach Wiggins; you have been a huge part of my growth as a player and a person, and I will always be appreciative.

“To my teammates: I know so many of you are destined for great things, and this brotherhood is one that we will all carry with us throughout our lives.

“Having said that, I’m thrilled to declare that I will be joining the NFL Draft in 2024.”

Burton attended Georgia for his first two seasons before moving to Alabama in 2022. He contributed right away to the Crimson Tide’s passing attack and was quarterback Jalen Milroe’s top target last season.

The Calabasas, California native played in 13 games in 2023, averaging 20.5 yards per reception and racking up 798 yards on 39 catches and eight touchdowns.
